Julianne Taylor, education coordinator for Explore Outdoors! – a collaboration between Blue Hill Heritage Trust, Downeast Audubon and Great Pond Mountain Conservation Trust – will do a program for kids at the Blue Hill Public Library on Wednesday, July 18th at 2:00 PM, about North Atlantic puffins and other amazing seabirds. She will showcase a handful of seabirds that call the coast of Maine home during the summer months. Participants will learn about seabird life histories and their roles in ocean ecosystems, and will make a North Atlantic puffin finger puppet and a mobile that represents a food chain with the inclusion of a seabird.
This program is co-sponsored by the library and Explore Outdoors!. There is no charge and everyone is welcome. For more information call the Library at 374-5515.
