“Music to Grow On” series for children and caregivers is being presented by Bagaduce Music beginning Friday, September 28, 2018 at 10:00am at the Performance Hall, 49 South Street in Blue Hill.

For thirty minutes each week children and caregivers will move and play together while the instructor sings and chants songs and patterns in various tonalities and meters. The music comes to life with colorful scarves and balls, small percussion instruments and circle games. These playful activities are engaging and nurturing for children and parents alike. Join the fun and make new friends!

The instructor, Deborah Reinke has twenty-five years of experience teaching early childhood music classes. She has degrees in music education from SUNY Potsdam and Temple University and bases her classes on the Music Learning Theory of Edwin Gordon. Dr. Gordon has written numerous books on music education including Music Play and Music Learning Theory for Newborn and Young Children.
