DESCRIPTION:Ben Pfohl will be the featured performer at Dolly’s Coffeehou
 se at the First Congregational Church of Blue Hill\, Saturday\, January 4t
 h 7:00-9:00pm. A long-time resident of Blue Hill\, Ben is a singer\, songw
 riter\, and guitarist. Playing a mixed bag of mostly original music\, rang
 ing in genre from contemporary folk to country to blues and maybe even bor
 derline acoustic rock and roll. With lyrics that are at times poignant\, s
 ometimes ironic\, and often politically exasperated\, all sung with a deci
 dedly unrefined vocal style backed up by solid guitar playing. Whether dar
 k or amusing\, it should be entertaining.\n\nThe first hour will be open m
 ic\, where everyone is welcome to perform: music\, mime\, poetry\, dance\,
  etc. Performers are requested to arrive a few minutes early to sign up. T
 here will be a brief intermission with refreshments\, followed by Ben Pfoh
 l.\n\nDonations benefit the Dolly Fisher Emergency Fund\, which provides e
 mergency fuel\, food\, and utility help for households on the Blue Hill Pe
 ninsula and informing the public about other available resources. Held dow
 nstairs in Fellowship Hall\, come listen and join the fun. Admission is by
