DESCRIPTION:This course with Artist John DelMastro will focus on the techni
 que of blending soft color pencils together to accomplish an almost” pai
 nt like” feel. This method has nothing to do with using watercolor penci
 ls or adding any liquid substance to the medium nor is it working with pas
 tels or charcoal. The course is designed to teach you how to draw out colo
 r from a pencil through a series of practical exercises. You will be sketc
 hing very simple objects\, and learning how to add dark and light values a
 s well as bring out texture with colored pencils. All skill levels are wel
 come.\n\n$45 for members/$55 for non-members. A list of supplies will be e
 mailed to registered participants. Space is limited and pre-registration i
 s required.
