The library and Blue Hill Heritage Trust will co-sponsor an online presentation by educator Corrie Locke-Hardy, co-founder of “The Tiny Activist,” about diversity in children’s literature, on Wednesday, August 5 at 2:00 PM, via Zoom. This online event will include readings by Locke-Hardy, a discussion about the importance of having a diverse bookshelf, advice on how to choose quality texts, and a Q&A session. All ages are welcome. This event is free, but advance registration is required to receive the link to join the event, via the library’s online calendar or by calling 374-5515.
