Ballroom Basics
Have you always wanted to partner dance? Here’s your chance! We will cover the basics of social partner dancing. Whether you’re a new dancer or want to brush up on your technique you’re welcome to join in. Focus is on having fun and feeling more confident on the dance floor. Dances covered will include Waltz, Swing, and Rumba.

Please carry in a dedicated pair of dance shoes (clean, non-marking soles); no outdoor shoes are allowed into the studio.
Masks, vax’d (over 5), and distancing for staff and participant safety.
About the instructor: David Lamon is an experienced teacher and choreographer who has studied and taught a wide variety of dance forms and movement techniques. Whether he is teaching jazz, modern, improv, or ballroom, David’s classes are fun, engaging, and demonstrate a thoughtful attention to the foundations of each dance. Whatever the form, David believes that dance is a doorway to the synchronistic creativity of being in the moment.
