DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, September 22nd at 10:00 am\, The Grand continues 
 a 3-day tribute to the wonderful world of puppetry with Tanglewood Marione
 ttes proudly presenting a class in the fine art of marionette manipulation
  (recommended for ages 8 and up)! These master puppeteers will discuss som
 e of the construction and stringing techniques used when building marionet
 tes\, and then demonstrate the basics of marionette manipulation. Particip
 ants will be provided with marionettes for the duration of the workshop. E
 ach puppet has been lovingly handmade by Tanglewood Marionettes artisans\,
  and has been left uncostumed and unpainted to showcase the construction a
 nd joining techniques that go into the craft of marionette creation. Parti
 cipants will experience firsthand what it is like to work a professional-q
 uality marionette that has been balanced and tuned like a fine instrument.
  The marionettes will be short-strung to allow the participants to work th
 em at floor-level. Registration for this special workshop is $15 (includes
  admission to the Tanglewood Marionettes performance of “The Fairy Circu
