The Deer Isle Artists Association, which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year, opens on May 30, 2023 with the show, “Simple Pleasures.” Appearing in this show are Ben Appleby-McGuire, Christopher Brumfield, Adell Donaghue, Judy Holder, Richard Newman, Rochelle Newman, Tracy van Buskirk and Ruth van Doren. In the Art Rack will be work by Ben Appleby-McGuire, Suzanne Bolton, Elizabeth Braunhut, Adell Donaghue, and Katama Murray.
The show runs from May 30 through June 11, and the public is invited to a reception with the artists on Friday, June 2 from 3 – 5 PM.
