DESCRIPTION:The 26th annual Blue Hill Pops Concert\, sponsored by the Bagad
 uce Music Lending Library\, will be held on Sunday\, July 3 at 7:30 pm in 
 the George Stevens Academy gymnasium on Union Street in Blue Hill. This ye
 ar’s festival of “Sounds Around Blue Hill” will feature fiddler extr
 aordinaire Andy Stein\, the Powdermilk Biscuit fiddler for over 20 years o
 n A Prairie Home Companion. Other 2016 Blue Hill Pops performers will incl
 ude flamenco guitarist Gregoire de la Costa and flamenco dancer Lindsey Bo
 urassa\, the New Traditional Jazz Band with pianist Paul Sullivan and the 
 Bagaduce Pops Singers under the direction of Bronwyn Kortge.\n\nGeorge Ste
 vens Academy’s award-winning Fuchsia Jazz Combo will play welcoming musi
 c beginning at 6:45\, and the Big Moose Celtic Group will entertain concer
 t goers outside as they arrive. As in past years\, Blue Hill Pops will con
 clude with a patriotic finale featuring an audience sing-along of our nati
 on’s service songs and “America the Beautiful”.\n\nTable seats\, res
