Friends in Action is a 501 c 3 nonprofit organization that provides volunteer services, including free transportation and friendly visits, to older and disabled adults throughout Hancock County. We also provide resource information and social programs and will be offering a social coffee house for seniors one morning a week starting in the Fall of 2017 in Blue Hill. We operate the Friends in Action Senior Center in the Moore Community Center in Ellsworth which is open to seniors from the region and offer senior lunches, a senior fitness program and a coffee house twice a week.
